I believe every American deserves access to quality affordable health care, but I oppose Obamacare because it raises taxes on middle class families and cuts Medicare. There's no doubt that the President had good intentions, but Obamacare has failed to accomplish the main goal of health care reform, which is to reduce skyrocketing costs. We need to repeal it and replace it with common sense solutions like allowing businesses and individuals to purchase health insurance from the lowest cost provider anywhere in the United States and making the cost of that insurance like the cost of a mortgage, 100% deductible from an individual's federal income tax. Our next senator must help provide families relief from the increasing financial burden of health care. That is best accomplished by allowing individual states to implement health care reform that works best for them.
